There is more to iVanta than warehousing storage. We support our warehousing clients with freight shipping services that manage the movement of their products throught Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of the world, via road, rail, air, and sea.
With access to our facilities, you can move your stock between our warehouses within 24-hours to position your products for transportation, in the right territory, at the right time, for shipments to specific retailers.
Transportation Methods
To plan and execute the transportation of your goods, we consider where the journey will start, the type of product you had like to transport, the volume, and the destination, to identify the right transport method for your needs and ensure a smooth freight shipping service every time.
From Our Facility To local retailers & stores
- Domestic Courier Shipments: Road transport, used for small B2B shipments, eCommerce deliveries and reverse logistics. We work with you to understand your delivery deadline (next day, 48hrs, or 72hrs), and select the carrier that can meet your needs.
- Pallet Networks: Road Transport: We use pallet networks for Nigeria-based B2B shipments, and large eCommerce deliveries.
Transport across Nigeria, Africa & ROW
- Dedicated Carriage: Clients of our freight shipping services benefit from our relationships with dedicated hauliers, who enable us to deliver full loads of your goods directly to DC's, retailers/stores, via road.
- Rail Freight: We use rail for large-scale transportation, and as a cost-effective, environmentally conscious way of transporting full loads from ports to inland destinations.
- Mail Networks: For lightweight, compact shipments. Mail networks help us to leverage the global postal infrastructure to offer an economic solution that is ideal for shipments with extended delivery timeframes.

Our Africa and ROW specific freight shipping methods help you to navigate the regions size and logistical challenges.
- International Courier Shipments: Transport by road or air, used fro small B2B shipments, eCommerce deliveries and reverse logistics. For international courier shipments, we not only need to understand your shipments delivery deadlines (24hrs, 48hrs, 72hrs), but whether road or air is the best option. We tend to use road transport for Africa shipments, and air for the ROW, unless your requirement differs.
- Express Delivery Options (Air & Sea): This air and sea transport method offers next-day delivery to 90% of Africa countries.
- Standard Africa Road Transport: Road remains the preferred method of transport for many African regions, is morecost effective than our express delivery, and typically offers delivery times of up to 5days, though transportation to certain regions may take up to 10days.

Carrier Management
Our freight shipping services ensure that your company is not limited by scale or carrier volume. We ship parcels and packages across Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of world, through a range of carriers, across all transport types, including:
- Major parcel couriers (via road), like TNT, DHL, Fedex, Red Star Express, ABC Cargo Express and Tranex.
- A variety of large and local hauliers (via road)
- Multiple pallet networks (via road) such as TSL, GPC Energy, ASEP, CourierPlus.
- Freight forwarders, via sea, air and rail.
Our transport management system has carrier integrations, and integrates seamlessly with your internal systems, giving you access to a wide huge range of carriers, from territory-dedicated carriers, and more.
iVanta’s carrier agnostic model, dedicated transport team, and purchasing scale enable us to provide the perfect freight shipping services for every unique shipment, as we are able to assign the right carrier for your goods and volume, at a specific point in time, at the optimal price. Our approach also supports flexibility, should a chosen carrier fall down – you can trust us to guide your goods from that point to their destination.
Booking & Collection Services
Bookings and collections management is the gateway to our freight shipping services.
When you’re ready to transport your goods from our facilities or other facilities, to retailers across the world, you will need to raise a booking or collection via our system. Our dedicated B&C team communicates with retailers and our operations team, to plan the preparation of your goods, and their delivery, to deadline.
Bookings: Required when delivering products into a retailer’s site. Bookings detail a specific time for our vehicle to attend and be loaded or offloaded, and a window of time this is to be completed in (usually between 15 mins – 1 hour+).
Collections: If a major retailer will be sending a vehicle to our facility to collect your goods, we will arrange a collection, and our operations team will ensure the goods will be prepared and loaded at a specific time.
Track & Trace
iVanta delivers truly connected freight shipping services, with a powerful system, integrations, and dedicated teams committed to providing couriers, hauliers, and you, with traceability and visibility of each shipment.
Couriers – We maintain excellent communication with couriers via our system integrations and long relationships. Our Blue Yonder WMS provides couriers with visibility of each parcel’s journey, and confirmation of delivery. This data is also shared on our client portal to give you visibility of shipping details.
Hauliers – While Hauliers are often less technically equipped to provide visibility and traceability, we have a team dedicated to working with hauliers to receive manual confirmation of POD’s and real time traceability, who then immediately update our system for your visibility.
